Drežnik old town is a fortress at the edge of Drežnik Grad in the Rakovica municipality, not far from the Plitvice Lakes. Set on a crag above the Korana canyon, it guarded the border against Ottoman territory for centuries.
Pair it with a visit to Plitvice; the fortress is a stop on the road to the park.
