Rastoke is where a river breaks into a series of small waterfalls right through the middle of the settlement, old wooden watermills built directly over the rushing water. Moss-covered wheels and timber walkways cling to the rock, a quieter cousin of the bigger falls inside the park. It is easy to lose an hour just wandering between the mill houses and the spray.
