Okrugljak takes its name from the Croatian word for 'round', and its neat, near-circular shape is easy to trace from the boardwalk that skirts one side. Ringed tightly by forest, it holds the stillest water in the upper chain, often glass-flat when the wind drops. It is a small pause, but a memorable one.
