Novakovića Brod takes its name from a 'brod', an old river crossing once used to reach the far bank here. It is one of the last pools in the lower chain, narrow and fast enough to feel the pull toward the falls just downstream. Watch the current for a moment and you can see the lake already gathering speed toward Sastavci.
