Lake Milanovac sits quietly among the cascade of lakes, held back by a low travertine barrier that spills gently into the next pool. Its color shifts with the light, from deep jade to pale turquoise, and a boardwalk traces its edge close enough to watch trout hang in the current. Few visitors linger here long, which makes it a good place to slow down.
