Burgeti is less a single lake than a loose group of small pools, where the water briefly threads into several shallow strands before gathering again downstream. Grass and reed grow right to the edge in places, softer than the sheer travertine seen elsewhere. It is an easy, unhurried stretch of the upper chain.
