On the very cape of the Sveti Petar peninsula, beside a small lighthouse and the rebuilt chapel of the same name, stands the statue of St Peter with his keys in hand. A path through the pine woods leads out to it, and the rocks around the monument are the town's favourite sunset stage: open sea on one side, the harbour, breakwater and Biokovo above the town on the other.
Claim a rock below the statue half an hour before sunset: front row for a show with no ticket.
