Why it is worth your time
Just east of Korčula town, the village of Lumbarda hides shallow, sandy-bottomed bays where the water turns a pale turquoise. Wade far out at Bilin Žal, then dry off with a glass of the local Grk wine pressed from the surrounding sands.
