Getting from the airport into Pula
A shuttle runs to the centre of Pula in roughly 15 minutes, timed to arriving flights. Because the airport is small and seasonal, connections outside the summer schedule can be sparse, and a taxi over such a short distance stays affordable.
What you can reach from PUY
Pula and its Roman amphitheatre first, then Rovinj and Poreč up the west coast, Motovun and the hill towns inland, and the Brijuni islands by boat from Fažana. For most of Istria this is the arrival airport, with Trieste and Venice as alternatives from the Italian side.

Pula is built around the summer. From late spring to early autumn it is served from Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, often on weekend rotations aimed at holiday traffic. In winter the airport is very quiet and travellers usually arrive via Zagreb, Trieste or Venice instead.
