For centuries pilgrims have climbed this stairway from the city center to the shrine on Trsat hill, some once on their knees. It is named after the commander Petar Kružić, who had its oldest section built. With every turn the view opens wider over Rijeka's rooftops and the Kvarner Bay, with the church and the castle waiting at the top.
At the top, detour to Trsat Castle; its walls give the best view over the Kvarner Bay.
